Welcome to the official Del Aire Classes page—this is the hub for all our classes and programs. If you’re looking for Thriving Parents or Thriving Dads, you’re in the right place; those programs live here too.
INTAKE ASSESSMENT & PROCESS | Before a client is welcomed into a class or program, they will first undergo an intake process. This in-person intake process aims to evaluate the client’s unique needs and set them up for success. As a fundamental part of our classes and programs, the intake process allows our staff to collect and analyze key information about the client and devise an approach tailored to their specific needs. Overall, the intake process should make the first step to change as comfortable as it can be for the client.

PARENTING
We offer both fatherhood and motherhood classes on a weekly basis. We understand the cultural needs of the community that we serve and strive to ensure that each client understands what it actually means to be an effective parent. Our goal is to reunite families and to remove barriers that hinder a strong family structure.
ANGER MANAGEMENT
Our anger management classes are designed to help you recognize the signs of anger, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and communicate your feelings in a non-violent manner. Our certified anger management instructors are experienced professionals who are committed to providing personalized guidance and support to each client. They understand that anger manifests differently in each individual, and they tailor their approach to meet the unique needs of each participant.
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
We offer both batterer’s intervention and survivors’ classes. In our classes, we cover topics such as person-directed violence, emotional intelligence, power and control, and much more. Our goal is to teach batterers different ways to deal with their emotions and understand the impact their violence has had on their victims. We strive to create a safe space for victims and provide them with an outlet to share their experiences during the healing process.
DRUG AWARENESS
A 12-week blended (on-site/Zoom) course that examines the introduction, curiosity, and prescriptions that are fine lines leading to the abuse and misuse of illicit behavior. This course comprises three major parts: (1) identifying personal triggers, (2) employing tools and techniques to address those triggers (people, places, and things), and (3) relapse prevention. Students will be guided to consider the different types of feelings and experiences that have associated them with drinking or drug use. They will be encouraged to explore different ways to identify and avoid their personal triggers, fostering a successful journey to sobriety and stability.
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
Individual Counseling is a service provided by a professional LCSW for the benefit of court-ordered individuals to address their ongoing case issues. Counseling will be over a course of three intake sessions and 12 individual sessions. Clients will be seen weekly where they will address such issues as Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Substance Abuse, Parenting, and Personal Growth and Development and Safety. The primary goal is to help the clients enhance their communication skills, learn to problem solve, goal setting and introduce coping techniques such as self-talk and visualization. It is the hope that after completion of counseling, the individuals will have learned how to effectively manage stress, interpersonal difficulties, and troubling situations.
