The Del Aire Food Ministry
The Del Aire Food Ministry is dedicated to serving our community by providing essential groceries to families in need. In partnership with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Costco, Amazon Fresh, Ralphs, and Food 4 Less, we distribute food to an average of 500 families each week, ensuring they receive a full week’s worth of groceries. More than just a food program, we are part of Del Aire Community Development Corporation, which offers additional resources such as family support services, visitation programs, and assistance for those impacted by domestic violence. Through these efforts, we strive to uplift and support our community with compassion and care.
How It Works
Our food giveaways are completely free and open to everyone in need. Here’s how it works:
- Bring 5 Bags – When you arrive, bring five reusable or sturdy bags, and we will fill them with food.
- Drive-Up Option Available – If you have a car, park nearby while we prepare your bags. Once your food is ready, drive into the loading zone, and our team will assist with loading it into your vehicle.
- No ID Required – We do not require identification. We will simply ask for your name when you arrive.
- A Ministry of Del Aire Baptist Church – Our Del Aire Food Ministry is a community outreach program of Del Aire Baptist Church, dedicated to serving families in need with compassion and dignity.
Everyone is welcome—come as you are, and let us help provide for you and your family!
